The John Cadillac Band is Philadelphia’s original “Roots Rock” band. During its 5 year run (1977-1982) the band played a weekly schedule of clubs, colleges, universities, festivals and biker bars. They were often recorded live on WMMR and WIOQ. The band shared billings with John Lee Hooker, James Cotton, Stiv Bator, Jr.Walker, and John Mellencamp, to name a few. Their non-traditional style of urban and rural blues, rockabilly and country music has remained unchanged.
